They charge way too much for so little effort. When I received my first draft it had statements made about my work experience that were either misleading or untrue, such as suggesting I had managerial skills or met monthly quotas. I asked my writer to tell me where in the questionnaire I gave him this impression. If an employer caught these errors I would have come off as dishonest. He never answered my question and was mostly dismissive of my concerns. When he edited my resume he simply reworded the same statement.
I also found grammatical and spelling errors. That didn't bother me as much but considering he stated he was an experienced writer who worked on many other resumes, I found this odd. He also said he left comments in the document for me to read which he never did.
What really got me was my education. He said I was getting a Bachelor's in fine arts and art history. I stated that I was getting a Bachelor of Fine Arts in art history. I submitted an old resume where I stated that very clearly. It seemed like he just skimmed through my questionnaire and resume and made it up as he went along. For an "experienced writer" he was lazy. I also found his messages to be condescending.
It gives me stomach aches that I paid $179 for a simple job and received mediocre service. The amount of effort they put into these resumes is not worth the money. I will not be recommending this company to anyone.
I did not go the cheap route here and even paid for expedited service. Didn't even hear from the writer for a week and it was another 1-2 weeks before the resume was complete. I did not get a refund for the expedited service. Resume gets less hits than my old resume, look minimal and the information does not auto load to application forms well at all. Does not reflect my experience well and limits some of the application options I might explore. Reached out to them because they do have a guarantee and they told me I wasn't keeping an open mind and giving it enough time. It's been 2 months since this all started. I've gone back to my old resume because I have no choice.

I purchased through TopResume a resume, cover letter, thank you letter, LinkedIn profile makeover, Recruiter posting and resume posting through several job boards. My writer was Aaron A and he did a good job on my resume and cover letter. He never let a response from me go no more than 24 hours which was appreciated. I am still in the process of the LinkedIn makeover. The only problem I had was when I purchased the recruiter.com distribution was that I never received the email for confirmation. I'm still waiting on this as I write this review.
Steve was my writer. Although I have only begun to submit applications I can confidently say, Steven was outstanding. He listened to what I said, made sound recommendations and explained them as they were presented.
He was patient, attentive and a good listener. He asked questions to become more informed about my particular industry and together we explored my options. We wen through several revisions until I was comfortable with the product.
We produced a one page resume that captured and clearly highlighted my skills, experience and knowledge without saying too much.
I would have no problem reaching out to Steven again or to recommend Top Resume.
Great service. David listened to my remarks and took them into account. I was especially impressed with the makeover of my LinkedIn profile.
After discovering the secrets of the ATS, I knew I needed professional assistance in rewording and reformatting my resume to clear ATS and be taken seriously on positions I was more than qualified for.
They did a lot of good and responsive work, were knowledgeable and open to making changes when I asked

I am on month two and still have not received a finalized document. Currently, I've gone through 3 different writers and still do not have a usable document. My original resume, cover letter and LinkedIn are far better products than what I've received from TopResume. If you are thinking of using this service, please PASS. It has been a tremendous waste of my resources: time and money. Best of luck to you.

Because this company is a sham. Please do not waste your money. There are plenty of reputable services that you can use.

I paid for my resume on January 1,2018 and they sent me back a resume that was the. Worst thing ive ever seen. Its obviously done by someone where English is not their first language, What a waste of $245, these guys are criminal, ripping everyone off.

Total garbage. I paid $149 and got back something that I could have done myself. Definitely what I expected. I demanded a refund and receive a promise of one, we'll see if I do get it. Total waste of money.
